This is an incredible experience on a downhill bike ride on the Road of Death, starting at 4700 meters above the sea level down to 1200 meters, using high technology bikes and high security. You will use a bike of a brand with worldwide prestige: KONA GARBANZO COLIER, with disc brakes, and frames according to individual passenger size. Enjoy this tour, guided by the leaders of mountain biking in Bolivia – Gravity Assisted.
The tour starts at a central cafeteria, where you can optionally order your breakfast at 7:00am (extra cost). Then there will be a drive towards the top of “La Cumbre” at the Royal Range of the Andes, to start testing the bikes and the equipment and receive directions for a safe ride all the way downhill to the tropics of La Paz. You will start biking downhill, always assisted by professional guides, with radio contact and a supporting vehicle behind the group.
The company gives you a nice souvenir T-shirt that says: I survived to the Road of Death.

6:45am Optional breakfast at Alexander Coffee Shop
7:30am Departure time - drive towards the Cumbre in the Andes Mountain Range
8:30am Test the bike, try on the helmets, goggles and jackets and start going downhill toward the tropics of La Paz
1:00pm Free beer at Senda Verde which is an animal rescue lodge- lunch is included.
Here there will be time to relax and walk in the surrounding area or take a refreshing bath in the swimming pool.
4:00pm Return to La Paz - Optional stay at the lodge or Coroico town
